Insufficient data: Cannot write a sports article when the source analysis is empty

I cannot create a purely Vietnamese sports news article of 2,455 words from an analysis that contains no sports event. There is no match, no athlete, no technical data, no result, and no source link. Therefore, writing a text that looks like a credible sports article would violate the principle of verification. My own experience from covering matches cannot replace missing source data. A sports article may not need many statistics, but it must be grounded in a specific source: match report, ranking list, coach statement, or at least the date of the tournament. When everything is missing, any story I create is dangerous fiction, because readers may mistake it for news. So instead of inventing a story about Vietnamese badminton or football, I choose to stop at this boundary. 'The press conference door is closed, but the court is still open' — for a journalist, if there is no real court, an open door is still just an empty space. The next requirement is a complete Stage-1 file including the tournament name, sport, date, result or main developments, names, technical figures, public sources, and reliability level. With that material, I will write an original, long-form analysis, even reaching the requested length if necessary. But I will never sacrifice factual accuracy for word count. The veteran journalist I learned from said that speed is not what journalism is made of; accuracy is. The article cannot be born today just because I need 2,455 words. It will be born when real data arrives, and then I can write about a Vietnamese sport in motion with the necessary depth.
